Custom Computer Warranties
LanLabs uses all the strengths of the industry and offer a level of flexibility never before seen in a warranty service. If you have a problem you simply hit a button on your desktop and we fix the problem for you. No long hold times, no fighting with some underpaid tech that has never seen your computer. We do all that for you. Your sales rep gets a description of the problem and their team diagnoses it using our state of the art remote repair software. Then they call the warranty company and file a ticket on your behalf. Doing this is not only less strain on you, but your problem is diagnosed by the people who built your PC and the same outsourcing “professionals” used by the rest of the industry. So you get the best of both worlds with the least amount of hassles and no hold time. If its not backed by the warranty, its backed by our build facility, if its not backed by them, its backed by us. We are not trapped by one contract, so you are not stuck with a problem.

Standard coverage is for one year from the date of purchase (see our extended warranty plans below for more info on longer warranty times), after that you still receive free remote repair service, but only for diagnosis and support. If the problem is a hardware failure after the one year time frame AND you are not covered by our "Last Computer you will ever buy" coverage, you will pay shipping and replacement item costs, but not labor. At LanLabs we will never charge a customer labor unless you are asking us to do work above and beyond whats necessary.

We still believe a service industry should service the customer and will never outsource customer service to a scripted answering service giving the illusion of support. LanLabs new Last PC you will ever buy warranty service! This is our newest way to keep you at the height of technology. Simply keep your PCs original box and call in the allotted time frame. We do the rest!

What do I get?
A technician will look over your PC when you call and discuss with you the best “bang for the buck” upgrades using the most current pricing. Once a package is agreed upon, you just put the PC back in the original box. A UPS or Fedex truck will show up at your door at the time we agreed on and take your computer back to L2 to be upgraded. It’s that simple!

What charges apply?
None! However, you must buy the upgrade parts through us. We will give you OEM pricing ensuring you receive a low price and all costs will be clearly listed and agreed to by both parties before the computer is picked up at your door.

Why does LanLabs do this?
That’s how confident we are in our computers. We are tired of proprietary companies deceiving people and hopefully our industry leading service and support will trickle down to the masses as it has in the past. We like being trendsetters, so this is the new trend!

It gets better?
Yes it does. At the time of the upgrade you will have the option to buy an additional extended warranty based on the computer build. This is not the overpriced warranty other companies outsource; this is the same great warranty you have just enjoyed only cheaper. It is cheaper because we deduct the cost of the manufacturer warranty on all the new components you just upgraded too!! How is that for bang for the buck?

The best part:
If you buy the new extended warranty it allows you to upgrade again in a year! This will be the last computer you ever buy.

Do I have to upgrade every year?
No, you can wait longer if you wish, but due to how fast the industry changes we must put a three year time limit on the upgrades. So longer than one year, but less than three.

What if I bought an extended warranty but want to upgrade sooner?
You can upgrade every year!  For example if you buy a three year warranty, you can upgrade three times before buying our reduced priced warranty for another three years!

What other services can I have done?
Anything you want! Would you like us to clean out the PC and restore it to factory new conditions? Would you like new software installed? Change the case, add lighting, back up data, remove viruses or anything else you can think of. Just ask your sales rep.

Sound too good to be true…
Nope. No fine print. Here are the limitations:  

- The computer must be upgraded in the allotted time frame of (minimum) one year and (maximum) three years.  

- The computer must be securely packaged in the original box or we can mail you an equivalent, but there will be a charge (those boxes are expensive and expensive to ship). Depending on the size of your computer this can be from about 30$ to 60$.

- We cannot be held responsible for lost data. You must backup your data prior to shipping! While we will take the greatest care not to damage your data and return the PC to you as expected, but the hard drive has moving components that can be damaged in shipping. There is nothing we can do about this.

Service Packs Description

LanLabs basic warranty service is simply the best coverage you will find anywhere. It offers triple coverage on the PC from the applicable build facility, the manufacturer warranty of each component and of course LanLabs itself. You simply hit a button on your desktop and we do the rest. This coverage lasts one year and at the end of that year you may apply for the “Last Computer you Will Ever buy” upgrade and extended coverage.
